My name is Steve Rennie. I’ve been working in the music business for the better part of 30 years now. During that time I’ve worked as a concert promoter, record executive, internet entrepreneur, and artist manager. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a wonderful career in the music business and worked with some of the most talented artists and executives that the business has produced. I care deeply about the future of the music business and hope that this blog can be a platform to share some of my experiences and observations with the artists, music fans, music consumers, entrepreneurs, and executives who will shape the business in the future.

Cheers, Renman! Its awesome that you care so much about the state of the music industry. It seems that too many of those involved in the business nowadays have nothing but $$$$ on their minds, but you shatter the stereotype! We can just add this to the long list of why you’re not only the best manager in the world but a great individual, too!
I look forward to the future of this website and also how the f… we’re going to fix this freakin business…

Hi Steve, I feel almost proud to love a band that got the best manager in the world. It’s really wonderful that you care about these matters. I had the out-of-this-world experience of meet you and Incubus when you guys came to Chile.
I’m looking forward to response and comment
your entries and videos about the music industry, so I can think about “como chucha arreglaremos este negocio”* here in Chile and South America
